John Daly is a ceramic artist from the small country town of Cowra, 5 hours inland from Sydney.

Having grown up with two potter parents, Greg Daly and Catherine Bennett, John spent his formative years testing glazes and building kilns.

After completing a Bachelor of Science (Honours), majoring in Geology and Environmental Science, John has returned to the studio armed with a greater knowledge of glaze forming minerals and a desire to never again sit in front of a computer for 12 months crunching numbers.
